Excellent quality and so comfortable
Excellent quality and so comfortable. I have a good mattress but always felt it to be a bit firm in my hips when sleeping on my side. This topper has made a big difference. Really pleased with it.

Love it
Love it. It's transformed my recently purchased Panda Hybrid Pro mattress. Good mattress but just didn't have that extra comfort: it does now, well worth the money.

Game changer!
Considered buying this topper to go on top of my panda memory foam topper (which sits on top of a standard foam mattress). This has become the perfect layered combo. This was one last try before I spent 2k on a Tempur memory foam mattress. I suffer from a bad back if the density/soft top element isn’t correct. This has been a game changer.

It’s verrrrry comfortable
It’s verrrrry comfortable, feels like sleeping in a 5-star hotel bed every night. Two points that could be better: some feathers poke through my sheet, and despite the elastic straps, the topper slides down a bit. We need to readjust every 3-4 nights.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a mattress topper?
A mattress topper is a removable layer of extra cushioning that sits on top of your mattress. It's designed to make a difference to your sleep by adding comfort, support or protection or even all three. The Scooms mattress topper is filled with Hungarian goose feather & down and covered in 100% breathable cotton for cushiony-soft support.
Why would I need a mattress topper?
- An ageing mattress - A topper can help rejuvenate an old mattress by adding a new layer of cushioning.
- Improved sleep - Sinking into a luxuriously soft topper can be the ultimate bedtime indulgence.
- Orthopaedic need - If you are suffering from backache, a specialist topper could be just the thing to alleviate your discomfort during the night.
What size mattress topper should I buy?
You should always choose the same size topper as your mattress (e.g. Single, Double, King, Super King, or Emperor) for the best fit and comfort.
What thickness is best for a mattress topper?
Most people prefer a mattress topper that measures 5cm to 7 cm (2–3 inches). A thicker topper can be better for very firm or worn mattresses. A thinner topper is good for minor comfort adjustments. Our Scooms Hungarian goose feather and down mattress topper is 7cm high, which is just the right height to provide a luxurious layer of cushiony-soft comfort.
How do you keep a mattress topper in place?
Many toppers have either elastic straps or anti-slip bases so that they remain in place. A topper is designed to sit on top of your mattress, underneath your mattress protector and sheet. The Scooms mattress topper is held in place using four corner straps - 3.5cm x 50cm elastic bands.
